National Electric Motor Services Pty Ltd an ANZEx RSF (Recognised Service Facility) for hazardous area motor repairs.

All work is carried out in accordance with IEC 60079-19 and AS 3800, ensuring equipment is repaired and returned to its certified condition (CoC) while maintaining explosion protection integrity.

Our approach is straight forwards, a controlled and compliant repair process, full inspection and testing documentation and clear traceability of all work completed. LV & HV hazardous area motors, repairs and major overhauls, mechanical repairs, inspection and reporting.

Overhaul Scope Standard
  • Incoming static electric test and visual inspection
  • Dismantling of motor and inspection of all components
  • Steam cleaning and bake dry of stator winding
  • Class H varnish treatment of windings
  • Steam cleaning and bake dry components
  • Repair or renew other damaged parts
  • Dynamic balancing of rotor G1.0
  • Reassembly of motor
  • Replacement of bearings
  • Final static and no-load running test of motor
  • Provide service report

  • Renew winding accessories
  • Re sleeving of bearing housings to tolerance
  • Reclaiming bearing journals to tolerance
  • Shrink wrap packaging if required
  • Transportation frame manufacture
